Holy Spirit

May 7, 2022  •  Don Stewart  •  There are certain things which everyone should know about the Holy Spirit. In this book, we will find out what the Bible specifically has to say about the Spirit of God. Who is the Holy Spirit? Is He merely a force that comes from God, or is He more than that?

Don Stewart  •  The first book in our series, What Everyone Needs to Know about the Holy Spirit, explained some basic truths about the Person of the Holy Spirit. The Bible also has much to say about the work of the Holy Spirit in the lives of human beings. In this book, we will consider the present work of the Holy Spirit in the lives of believers, as well as how He works in the lives of those who are unbelievers.

Don Stewart  •  This book deals with the difficult topic of the baptism with the Holy Spirit as well as with the filling of the Holy Spirit. Unfortunately there has been much division among believers as to the meaning of these terms and how they are meant to be appropriated in our lives. Our desire is to give a basic understanding of the various views of this subject with a list of their strengths and weaknesses. We will then come to some conclusions regarding this important ministry of the Holy Spirit.

If someone is not healed is that because they did not have enough faith? In this book we consider these, as well as other important issues, regarding the healing of the body. We will begin by looking at certain misconceptions which are commonly held with respect to the subject of divine healing. After setting the record straight, we will then we have a detailed look at the major issues that surround this subject. This involves looking at what the Old Testament has to say about the subject, the four gospels, the Book of Acts, and the New Testament letters.

First, we look at introductory questions regarding the subject of spiritual gifts. We will examine what they are, who gives them, as well as how are they to be used.
